About Us

Tireless pursuit of justice

Mr. Weinstein has a diverse background. He served four years in the United States Air Force Communications Intelligence. With the assistance of educational benefits from the Air Force, he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Financial Management from the University of Maryland, Smith School of Business and his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center.

After his tour in the Air Force and in between undergraduate and law schools, Mr. Weinstein secured NASD (now FINRA) Series 7 and 3 licenses (general securities and commodities, respectively, however no longer active). He worked with Shearson Lehman American Express as a Financial Consultant in New York prior to relocating to South Florida in 1987.

In Florida, since 1987, Mr. Weinstein worked with Commonwealth Savings & Loan Association as a Vice President responsible for the management and disposition of the bank’s Real Estate Owned (REO) properties. He is and has been a Florida licensed real estate agent since 1989. In that capacity, Mr. Weinstein oversaw and directed all aspects of maintaining, managing and insuring both residential and commercial bank owned properties, originating loans on resold properties, negotiating non-performing loan work-outs, renting properties owned, foreclosures and the sale/disposition of the Bank’s portfolio of real estate properties located throughout Florida, Texas and Louisiana.

When the savings and loan banking industry imploded in 1990, Mr. Weinstein attended Nova Southeastern University - Shepard Broad Law Center where he earned his juris doctorate degree in 1994. Since his admission to the Florida Bar and for the past 29 plus years, Mr. Weinstein has been representing clients in the practice areas of personal injury, business transactions/litigation, real estate related transactions and litigation, estate/probate administration and wills and trusts.

As a small business owner himself, Mr. Weinstein is acutely aware of and sensitive to the needs of his business clients. This is true particularly when it relates to resolving matters (whether for transactional or litigation issues) as expeditiously and cost effectively as possible.

Mr. Weinstein continues to enjoy a very active and longstanding practice in business transactions, the administration and/or litigation of probate estates, preparation of wills and trusts, real estate transactions, personal injury, landlord/tenant relations (principally representing landlords) and general civil litigation matters.
